And that almost half of Americans have poor health literacy? This webinar educates health professionals about public health literacy and their role in providing health information and services. During this session, you will learn the fundamentals of health literacy, develop an understanding of the challenges low health literacy causes individuals and populations, and be introduced to techniques to reduce barriers to communication. This training includes instructive and interactive portions to help participants gain a deeper understanding of this fundamental predictor of health status.
