Description: The PreAct Summit 2026 is a two-day interdisciplinary educational conference designed to advance knowledge and dialogue around prevention, preparedness, response, and community resilience. Through plenary presentations and breakout sessions, the summit brings together professionals and stakeholders to examine approaches to addressing complex challenges affecting individuals, organizations, and communities.
The summit provides opportunities to explore the public health implications of crisis prevention, emergency preparedness, behavioral health, community engagement, and coordinated responses to emerging threats. Educational discussions emphasize the importance of interdisciplinary partnerships, proactive approaches to risk reduction, and strategies that strengthen community capacity and resilience.
Participants will have opportunities to consider how prevention-oriented frameworks and collaborative approaches can inform public health practice, organizational planning, and community-based interventions. The conference is relevant to public health professionals, social workers, behavioral health practitioners, emergency preparedness professionals, community leaders, and others involved in prevention and population well-being.
