Through a combination of interactive modules, applied activities, quizzes, and reflections, learners will explore key concepts and tools used to plan, implement, and assess programs and services.

Designed for public health practitioners, program and service providers, graduate and undergraduate students, and early-to-mid career professionals, this beginner-level course helps build evaluation knowledge and strengthen evaluative thinking. Learners will gain hands-on experience developing logic models, creating monitoring and evaluation plans, and identifying meaningful performance measures to support data-informed decision-making and program improvement.

By the end of the course, learners will have a foundational understanding of evaluation practices and the confidence to contribute to evaluation activities across a variety of community, public health, and social service environments.
