This session features two speakers who bring complementary perspectives on advocacy and communication:
Hayley Hutchison, from Delta Omega’s Gamma Tau chapter at George Mason University College of Public Health, will lead a deep dive into global health advocacy communications. Drawing on real-world experience in resource mobilization and stakeholder engagement, she’ll explore how cultural competency, theory, and strategic storytelling come together to shape effective global advocacy strategies.
Nagashree R. Rao, from the Tau chapter at the University of South Florida College of Public Health, will focus on advocacy through evidence, sharing practical tools for translating research and surveillance data into messages that inform decision-makers, inspire action, and support equity-focused change.
