Description: In this module, we will begin with a recap of the general 5 steps for hypothesis testing. Then we will move forward with hypothesis testing for testing two or more means (using analysis of variance or ANOVA) and how to used simple linear regression for a categorical variable with more than 2 categories. Last, we will utilize Excel to assist with calculations for test statistics and p-values. In order to assist with calculations, be sure to check the “What You Will Need” section of this module to ensure you have the proper Excel add-ins installed.
